2013–2014 Youth Advisory Council

If you are age 13 through 18 and interested in film — from critiquing to creating — become part of BIFF’s Youth Advisory Council! As part of the Youth Advisory Council, you will:

select films and create, promote and produce the BIFF Youth Pavilion during BIFF 2014 (February 13-16)
attend the BIFF Opening and Closing nights free of charge
become trained as a Festival volunteer and learn the behind-the-scenes of running a film festival
organize, promote and host a film event for area youth
create, shoot and produce your own short film
meet area film makers, producers, screenwriters and directors

If that sounds like you AND you are absolutely available the weekend of February 14th through 17th AND you can commit to attending Youth Advisory Meetings approximately 4 times a month September 2013 through mid-May 2014 at the BIFF headquarters (1906 13th Street – the corner of 13th and Walnut), then please fill out the Youth Advisory Council Application below.

This is an unpaid position. Application deadline is May 30, 2013. Interviews will be held the week of June 3, 2013
